JANUARY-SEPTEMBER NEW Orders For Custom-Printed Items are Processed January thru September ONLY. NEW orders placed Oct-Dec will be processed the following January. OCTOBER-DECEMBER: Repeat Orders ONLY (but lead time can double during holidays) Order in full-case quantities only. Minimum imprint charge is for 1,000 pieces. Lead time is approx. 4-6 weeks after we receive your approved artwork and order. There is nothing instant or magical about custom imprinting -- Plan ahead and provide details. Payment is due when order is placed. Please Note: Prices below include 1-color and 2-color hot-stamping. We do not handle imprinting of more than 2 colors. Please note the "Special Considerations" section below if you choose to use a 2-color imprint. General Information for Hot Stamping Hot Stamping involves foil, or film, which is affixed to the product using the printing plate and a "heat, pressure and dwell" process. It works on many surfaces, and is required for imprinting on slick or glossy products. It produces a crisp look and produces an upscale image for products as basic as kraft shopping bags. Pricing: All prices are per 1000. Minimum imprint charge is for 1000 pieces. Quantity Pricing: Various sizes and colors of Frosted Soft Loop Shopping Bags may be able to combine for the per-thousand cost, provided one common plate and foil are used. However, quantities per size/color/style must be based on full case-packs. Over/Under Run: Orders are subject to a 10% over/under run. Proofs: Upon request, one proof will be provided at no-charge via fax, which will include the approximate placement of artwork. Artwork: Camera-ready artwork must be provided. Additional art charges will be incurred if cleanup or revision is required. You must provide correctly-sized black and white camera-ready artwork...NO shadings, gray areas or halftones. Color-separated artwork with centermarks, as well as a composite, is required for 2-color hot-stamping. Check with a graphic artist in your area if you need help with this. Maximum imprint areas vary, based on the product and size. Contact us for maximum imprint size for the product you will be ordering. PC-compatible artwork must be submitted in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator format (.ai or .eps format usually works well). Fonts must be embedded and/or image flattened, or save as outline. Hard copy must ALSO be submitted via fax or mail for comparison purposes. 600-dpi laser-printed hard copy may be required if compatibility issues arise. Call for instructions before sending artwork via email. Special Considerations: Hot Stamping does not allow us to print heavy foil coverage or halftones. Bold and simple designs produce the best results. Fine lines and tiny details do not usually work well. 2-Color Hot Stamping will incur 2 plate charges. Also, 2-color Hot Stamping requires at least 1/2" spacing between colors and no critical alignment.
